Drama Llama
A llama from Bahama had a quirk—
She fed on drama just as you or I
Might feed on cheesecake or on pumpkin pie.
At home, at school, or even—gasp—at work,
You'd see the drama llama skulk and lurk—
She'd spread a rumor, say she had a scoop—
Prevaricate, exaggerate, and snoop—
Yes, I would say this llama was a jerk.
The others tried to bear it patiently
Until the trauma made them all see red.
One night, they grabbed the llama from her bed
And shipped her, in pajamas, out to sea.
The moral is, if drama is your schtick
Be human, not a llama—that's the trick.
(I beg your pardon if this made you sick
My sonnet tried to be a limerick.)
